Sustainable agriculture is much more than just fields and farms, it’s a special way of doing things. A way, where we play a crucial role in the local communities that we are a part of. Not just because we create jobs and strong social connections, but because we naturally become an integrated part of the cities and villages that we are close to.

Community creates change

Change is created through strong relations and good habits. That’s why we have our annual triathlon and a more children friendly race with focus on learning and sustainability. It’s a fantastic way of establishing new social bonds around the themes that matters to us, society and the climate.

Besides our own events, we also sponsor local sports clubs, so that every kilometre counts no matter whether it is by biking, running or swimming – as long as it’s for a good cause.

The funds collected are donated to places, where they are needed the most like hospitals, children’s foundations or vulnerable families.

A helping hand

Basic infrastructure is too often taken for granted; not all roads are perfect and not all have buses, trains or trams for people to get around. This is why we often lend a helping hand by clearing the roads from snow in the winter or by sponsoring a new bike for the local postman, when the old bike has given up.

Every year, at certain holidays, we also prepare a special basket with food and necessities that are then handed out to vulnerable families or elderly that could use a little help. As it is our own employees that hand out these gifts, we get a special bond with our local communities and know, where we can help the most. This is our way of giving back to society everywhere we can.
