Who we are

We wish to further develop sustainable food production for a better tomorrow.

Our foundation

Goodvalley began in 1980 when Danish farmer Tom Axelgaard questioned the logic of farming procedures at that time and their negative impact on the environment. He believed there had to be a way to produce high quality food and maintain a healthy natural environment.

From that idea, Goodvalley grew, focusing on a unique and sustainable approach to farming that had minimal environmental impact. The Goodvalley way is now synonymous with the belief in ensuring quality and environmental care from field to fork, and an opportunity to meet the demands of a growing global population sustainably.

History

Goodvalley began in 1994 with one man’s belief that there had to be a way to successfully farm with less impact on the environment.

  • Reducing our use of resources and limiting our environmental impact.
  • Delivering high quality products and improving animal and human health.
  • Creating awareness about sustainable food consumption.
  • Strengthening traceability to ensure we can quickly establish where products originated.
